A trip to the shops
this September?

Lib Dem campaigner, Martin Tod, is shown here collecting signatures from Hampshire morris dancers who were collecting money in Winchester's High Street for Naomi House.

The Trip To the Shops petition was launched in the High Street on December 9th and already hundreds of people have signed up. In this picture, Lib Dem campaigner, Martin Tod, is shown here collecting signatures from Hampshire morris dancers who were collecting money in Winchester's High Street for Naomi House.

It could be a trip to the hospital instead for many local residents.

Dangerous pavements have raised concerns from South Wonston to Wickham and from Alresford to Oliver’s Battery. Our fine, historic Winchester city centre is disfigured by ugly, botched repair jobs and ankle-twisting potholes. Is this the image we want Winchester to present?

In 10 years of Conservative control, Hampshire County Council (and that’s who’s responsible) have presided over deteriorating and increasingly dangerous footpaths.

Now, local people and the Liberal Democrats are fighting back! If you share our anger and concern, please sign the petition below and get your friends and neighbours to do so too. You can also use the form to report particular problem areas.
